  I am not from Winkler. I had a difficult time finding the location. I was unfamiliar with the logo and looking for a spa name as you drive by with the tiny writing, I was unimpressed right off the bat. A friend booked the pedicure so I showed up with my baby after driving over 30 mins to get to this place to then be rudely told "do you have child care for your baby?" My reply... um no I didn't even know I couldn't bring him... well seeing that there isn't any one else booked in right now I suppose it's alright... Really? Make me feel welcome why don't you... the lady who gave me my pedicure was alright. Nothing special. I was 20 mins late - I get it, I wasn't expecting to have an extension but the other 3 were there on time and I was the first one done... other than asking me about the temperature of the water, the colour I wanted and what design, she didn't say a thing. It was an expensive bland pedicure... I won't EVER go back and I definitely WON'T be recommending anyone to go there either...

  I enjoyed the steam room, manicure, pedicure, facial, and full body wrap. Those things were done with a 5 star rating!! They were done very well with amazing, top of the line products. The spa has a very luxurious feel to it.

  The full body scrub was not very enjoyable (the shower head was not working); therefore, I ended up rinsing off the body scrub in the shower room (which is fine, but the price for the body scrub was paid. So, a lot of money was spent to have a shower there and rinse off gritty soap). It would have been nice to get a reimbursement or even a discount, but none was given. I probably would not be complaining about this had I not found out the price that my husband had paid to give me a day at the spa. But, as I was checking out, she charged me not just for some products that I wanted to buy, but also for all of the treatments that I had received. The girl was newer and figuring out the system. Long story short, she found the info she needed, and we did not have to pay twice.

  So, I definitely suggest this place, but ask for a discount or different treatment if something is not working like the shower head. They probably would have given me one had I asked. It also might be a good idea to make sure that the person doing your hot rock massage is certified in massage therapy.

  I also did not enjoy the hot rock massage. The person who had done my hot rock massage did not know what she was doing, but she was very good at the other stuff like the manicure, pedicure, facial, and full body wrap.

  Love my gel nails! 2 years of appointments and no problems. Amazing customer service!
